Postcard of Kuwait Tower

Kuwait Towers

Colleague bought back this postcard during her trip to Kuwait some years back.

As learned from Lonely Planet, Kuwait, in the cradle of one of the most ancient and most-contested corners of the world, is best described as a city state.

The Kuwait Tower are three towers of reinforced concrete in Kuwait City.
The main tower is 187 metres high and serves as a restaurant and water tower.
It also has a Viewing Sphere which rises to 123 meters above sea level and completes a full round turn every 30 minutes.
