Lago Titicaca - Peru

Lago Titicaca is, at an altitude of 3856 metres, the world's highest navigable lake. The lake is so big that it appears to be an inland sea. It is situated in the southern Andes region, also called Altiplano.

* Can't see any 'lake' in the postcard except the furry white animal, sort alike camel.

I have not been to S. America but learned about it in Geography. Would those animals been llamas?
