Magnificient Building of India

Play of light and dark
Impressive view of THE TOWERS (GOPURAMS) of Madurai's Meenakshi Temple

My another postcard of Seven Wonders , Taj Mahal.
A study in white marble against the blue sky.
Built by Shah Jahan as a tribute to his wife Mumtaz Mahal.

The Hawa Mahal ~ in the Pink City of Jaipur
This delicate, unusual facade allowed allowed the women inside to watch happenings outside without being observed.

Humayun's Tomb, New Delhi ~ built by his widow Haji Begum in 1573, was designed by a Persian Architect.

The towers are so intricate - they almost don't look real!
I always love your card, Lay.
