Native Americans - Navajo Nation
Of the Native Americans tribes living within the United States, the Navajo is the largest. The Navajo Nation also possesses the largest reservation, emcompassing some 27,000 square miles of land rich in oil, gas, coal, and uranium. However, true wealth of the reservation and people lies not beneath the ground, but in daily life expresses through the art of weaving traditional dress, and dance.

Plains Indian Women
"Preparation for Dinner"
The Sioux Indian women of the Teton or Western Dakota tribe sustained and perpetuated village life using their agricultural and domestic skills. Among the Dakota women's many skills were porcupine quill work and bead embroidery. They also performed such essential tasks as dressing hides for clothing and shelter, caring for the children and cooking.

World Trade Center of New York
